Abstract The property of maintaining the lens state liquid crystal (LC) during switching between positive and negative states is made use in fast acquirement multi-focus images without magnification change. A depth from focus (DFF) pipeline that can generate a low-error map an all-in-focus image proposed. scene then obtained via DFF captured images. sensor proposed this paper has advantages simple structure, low cost, long service life.
